childhood unplugged

2016, childhood unplugged

we had to take a quick trip up to LA and when dad mentioned taking a different route so that maybe we’d see some snow the kids were thrilled.  they went and grabbed all the snow gear they could find and pilled in the car.  the car ride then consisted of about a hundered “when will we be at the snow” comments.  so when we finally found this super hard icy snow covered area they were beyond excited. the sun was about to set and it was so cold but but they jumped at the chance to join a bunch of other people on the small frozen lake.  i had a couple small heart attacks at the thought of them falling through, especially when i saw remy with a rather large stick pounding the ice trying to see if he could break it.
